Since the beginning of this year the University of Vienna encourages its students and employees to use AI chat bots. To do so, they went to bed with the very corporations depriving our societies of energy, devaluing knowledge, and destroying our democracy.

Who

We are a group of students and university workers based in Vienna, who think critically about the University’s AI program and want to do something about it. We oppose higher education making itself dependent on OpenAI et. al. What is left of Uni Wien, when it outsources thinking?
